The songrooms is a prototype audio mixing game. The autonomous memes get down on the dance floor and perform various behaviours with their individual loops. Apart from thesongrooms members, thesongrooms are inhabited by the 'memes'.

Memes are constructed genetically, by breeding various simple geometric components together whole memes emerge. Each member of thesongrooms website can generate their own individual meme.

The mixer is a prototype tool for generating new tracks from the pool of audio recordings made by he children in thesongrooms community. This prototype allows you to mix a predefined set of tracks drawn from the existing pool found in the archive section. Future iterations of the Mixer will allow visitors and members to save their mixed tracks to thesongrooms charts!
